The link below gives directions on how to create and implement Let's Talk.
Start small with a simple clipboard, blank paper and fun writing utensils.
For a large Let's Draw board, use hard board from your local home improvement store, add clipboard clips and fasten to the wall.
Create your own Let's Try... box. Find various items to spark curiosity: blocks, Legos, mind puzzles, magnets, etc.
Choose items that get their hands and minds moving.
You can find inexpensive items at the Dollar Tree, Target Dollar Spot, etc.
Create your own Let's Chat activity with a whiteboard and tap light. We used shower tiles to create two large wall-sized Let's Chat boards.
Students write on one board and push the tap light when they want to "send" the text. The adult they are working with to problem solve then replies on a separate board. The student and adult text back and forth to work through issues or simply talk through feelings.
